Shaun Johnson

Co-Founder, Splendid

Shaun Johnson is a co-founder of Splendid. He advised Banjo Loans, an Australian non-bank lender to small and medium businesses, on marketing, strategy and growth from 2015 to 2017. Earlier, he was Commercial Director at the e-commerce payments platform Ukash in London, and set up the Australian and New Zealand business for Payzone's mobile payments platform, after starting his career as a strategy consultant at Accenture working in banking. He also founded Switchwise, an independent energy comparison service that matched customers with the energy plans best suited to their needs, later acquired by Computershare. Splendid applies the same idea of independent, personalised matching to business finance.
