What the Finder receives

When your assistant uses the Finder, it sends only the details needed to search the lender directory:

These are approximate business figures. They don't identify you or your business, and the Finder doesn't ask for names, contact details, Tax File Numbers, identity document numbers, bank account details or passwords. Please don't enter that kind of information in your conversation.

How we use it

The Finder uses the details above only to return lenders whose published criteria could fit, along with lender profiles and finance type explanations. Results come from Splendid's public business lender directory. We don't store search details, link them to you, use them for advertising, or sell or share them.

Technical information

Like any website, our server sees the IP address that a request comes from. The Finder keeps it in memory for about a minute to apply a fair-use rate limit, and doesn't store it. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs of requests to our website for security and to keep the service running.

Your AI assistant

Your conversation is handled by the assistant you use, under its own privacy policy and your account settings. Splendid doesn't see or receive your conversation, only the search details your assistant sends to the Finder.

Contacting Splendid

Using the Finder doesn't send an enquiry or loan application to Splendid. If you choose to contact us through our website, for example to get quotes, we collect and use the information you give us as explained in our main Privacy Policy.

Who the Finder is for

The Finder is for Australian businesses looking for business-purpose finance. It isn't intended for children.
